Send the full part number
Copy the complete number from your parts list or catalogue. Include any letters or suffixes. If you are unsure about a number, send the relevant catalogue illustration as well. A short description such as 'bearing' or 'arm' may refer to several different items.
Identify the machine
Give the machine model and, where available, the serial number. Tell us whether it is an MF 2270 or an MF 2270XD. Do not assume that a part fits both models because the machines look similar. Compatibility should be checked for the individual component.
Add clear photos
Photograph the whole part and its mounting points. Include close-ups of holes, bearing positions and any markings. If possible, show the part from more than one angle.
