Agmishop Explains Its Dimensional and Hardness Checks for Baler Parts
October 24, 2026
Customers often ask how we check replacement parts. At Agmishop, our inspection work focuses on dimensions, hardness and fit. This update introduces the equipment and checks that support our agricultural blade and baler component work.
Dimensions and mating features
Our inspection equipment includes a coordinate measuring machine, also called a CMM. It can be used to check specified dimensions and geometric features. Depending on the part, checks may focus on hole spacing, mounting points or mating surfaces. The technical drawing provides the requirements for the check.
Hardness depends on the part
We also have hardness testing equipment. Hardness requirements depend on the material, design and working conditions. A blade and a structural component do not automatically need the same value. We review the requirement for the individual part instead of applying one target to every product.
Visual condition and assembly
Visual checks can cover surface condition, edges and workmanship. Relevant parts may also need a fit check with a mating component. These checks answer different questions. A good-looking surface alone does not confirm dimensional accuracy, and a fit check does not establish service life.
Agree on inspection needs before ordering
Please share any required tolerances, hardness values or inspection documents with your enquiry. Our team will review what can be provided for the requested part.
